Jerry W. Holloway
February 18, 1944 - May 28, 2015

"Jerry W. Holloway passed Thursday May 28th, 2015 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing following an extended illness.
He leaves behind his daughter Tonya Holloway, his son Michael Holloway, three grandchildren, one great- grandchild and brother Floyd Holloway.

For those who were his students, the loss is hard felt. Holloway's Institute was founded in 1953 in Flint by his father Wayne Holloway. Jerry took his teaching style, sense of humor, knowledge and insight of business and real estate to a new level, inspiring the minds of Michigan real estate professionals and influencing the Real Estate industry, which will be felt for years to come; just ask a long time broker where they took their classes and many will say “from Jerry”.

In the wake of this loss, Jerry and Wayne's legacy lives on with Jerry's son Michael. Mike, who has stepped into his father’s roll as senior instructor, is devoted to Holloway’s Institute, and is determined to continue the insightful and unique pre-license and continuing education real estate classes as ever before, but Jerry will still be forever missed.

A private ceremony will be held Monday June 1st in Lansing. Those interested in honoring his memory are asked to make a donation in his name to the Capital Area Humane Society, located in Lansing."
