If you know someone who’s thinking about moving to Dexter, here’s what I’d tell them…

It’s got a small-town feel — but in the best way.

Think: a cute little downtown with a gazebo in the center — the unspoken spot where locals eat ice cream and let the kids run around. Free live music on Friday nights in the summer. Ice skating in the winter. The kind of place that still feels like it has a community.

Nightlife? Not so much. But what it does have is so much better — local small businesses instead of corporate chains. I’m talking boutiques, a bakery, a brewery, a bookstore, bars, diners, coffee shops, a cider mill, a fresh pasta shop, a flower shop — and a whole lot more.

Add in the amazing B2B trails, beautiful parks, highly rated schools, and tons of great community events — and it’s easy to see why people fall in love with this place.

And when you want a change of pace? Ann Arbor’s just a short drive away, and DTW isn’t far either. ✈️

Lots of salads to choose from along with lots of Asian-inspired stir fry options + the option to build your own dish! Healthy & fast-casual vibe. I’m excited to try it!
