Dream House Real Estate is taking the current health crisis very seriously. As North Carolina lifts restrictions on activity, we feel that continuing to implement certain safety measures will best protect the health of our communities, while providing even the most reluctant buyers and sellers with the confidence to re-enter the real-estate market.
With safety in mind, Dream House Real Estate has adopted a policy to not list or show (in-person) any home that is occupied. We have happily and inadvertently discovered that this policy reflects market demand for safety, as buyers overwhelmingly prefer viewing vacant homes, which offers an economic and strategic advantage to our sellers.
On Monday, Dream House Real Estate closed on the sale of this beautiful, vacant, virtually marketed property in Croasdaile Farm of Durham, after finding a buyer in less than one day! Croasdaile Farm is a pastoral retreat near Duke University, and is highly attractive to those in academia and medicine. However, even the most appealing occupied listings in that neighborhood continue to remain on the market.
Prior to listing, we spend however much time it takes helping our clients carefully relocate and prepare their properties for sale. Once listed, Dream Houses sell well and sell fast. Even (and especially) during these trying times, we are finding ways to create unique five-star experiences for each of our individual clients. Other new policies that Dream House Real Estate has established and found successful are virtual document review, virtual home-inspection review, virtual closings and special deliveries to lift spirits and provide connection.
If you are in the market and would like to be represented by Dream House Real Estate, please feel free to send us a message, or call Brandia Deatherage, at 252-945-3418.
