🏡 Unpopular real estate opinion…

I would take an older home with good bones and some outdated finishes over a beautifully updated house hiding expensive problems ANY day.

Paint, flooring and countertops can be changed.

A bad roof, foundation issues, water problems or major mechanicals? That’s a different story. 😬

Making Moves That Matter

Being a Realtor has absolutely RUINED the way I walk through houses. IYKYK

I can’t just walk into a house anymore.

I’m looking at the age of the HVAC… 👀
Water stains on the ceiling…
Windows…
The electrical panel…
That ONE freshly painted spot that doesn’t match the rest of the wall. 😂

Meanwhile everyone else is like, “OMG I love this kitchen!”

Tell me I’m not the only one whose job has completely changed the way they look at things. 😂
