Now’s the time to get ahead of it. Check in on loved ones and neighbors, bring furry friends indoors, give your pipes a little protection, and make sure your plants are covered or moved to safety.

Be prepared for cold weather survival if the power goes out too. Have blankets ready, keep flashlights and batteries nearby, charge your devices, and know how to stay warm safely without electricity.
