On the cusp of a promising and unlimited future, Brian Vu is working toward his degree in business administration, even as he helps his peers realize his own ambition: to build wealth through real estate. Before earning his license, he worked as a transaction coordinator, learning how to handle every aspect of the required documentation. During that time, he worked part-time as a handyman, taking
on projects and learning firsthand about home maintenance. He also has the advantage of training with an aunt who was a real estate agent in the Bay Area. His first experience in real estate was touring a listing with her to help her sell a client’s home. He was able to shadow her as she went about her business, watching and learning. First-time buyers are Brian’s primary clientele — as a student, he is surrounded by them. At his age, he has more connections than other real estate professionals to young people who are on the brink of new careers and weighing large investments in their future. He wants to help them with their plans because he shares their goal of building wealth to grow toward financial independence through real estate. In his spare time, Brian likes to work out and play basketball and volleyball. He also is happy to volunteer emotional support and career consultation for the GDPT Kim Quang Organization, which provides guidance for Buddhist youth and nurtures the Vietnamese language and culture.
