Last Tuesday at the the Main Street Advisory Board meeting I was honored to have Elkin Commissioner, Graham “Bear” Ray presented me with the town proclamation of recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month for Mayor Will Gwyn to which he asked I would meet with the owners of the Mango Peel, Tirzo and Reyna Ortiz, and present this to them to display at the Mango Peel in thanks, recognitions and proclamation of Hispanic Heritage Month and recognition of our Hispanic community and their many contributions to our community. We are so blessed and fortunate to be a part of this amazing community! ❤️
