September 25–27 is free, and so is the 28th through October 1st — the last real stretch of open nights we have before leaf season takes over.

Unpopular opinion: midweek at the cabin beats the weekend. 🍂

September 28, 29 and 30 are open — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday — and midweek up here is a completely different trip. The trails are empty. Downtown Ellijay is calm. There's no line at the orchards.

Screened porch, gas fire table, coffee in hand, and nowhere to be until Thursday.

Those are the last three nights we have in September, and they're the cheapest ones on the calendar that week.

If you can move a couple of days around, this is the sweet spot of the whole fall. 👇

A cancellation just opened up the back half of October. 🍂

We almost never have these dates. Here's what's free right now — two-night minimum on all of it:

🍎 Oct 17–22 — Georgia Apple Festival's second weekend is Oct 17–18, plus the midweek behind it
🍁 Oct 23–25 — peak-color weekend
🌙 Oct 25–30 — quiet midweek, from $200/night
🎃 Oct 30–Nov 1 — Halloween weekend, just reopened

Late October is the stretch people ask us about in July. Fire pit after dark, hot tub steaming under the trees, and the arcade and 100" theater downstairs for the afternoon it rains. The pup comes too — there's a fenced run. 🐾

About two hours from most of Atlanta, a little under two from Chattanooga. Close enough to leave after work on a Friday.

The last week of September is wide open — and it's a good one. 🍁

September 25 through October 1 is completely free. The weekend, the midweek, or the whole stretch if you want it.

Here's why that week is worth grabbing: the orchards are deep into apple season, the color is just starting to turn in the woods around the cabin, and it's the last quiet week before October fills these mountains with people.

Nathan said the thing we've never quite figured out how to say ourselves. 🌲

From the air you can barely pick the cabin out — it's just a bit of roofline in the middle of the woods. But you're ten minutes from downtown Ellijay and a short drive from Amicalola, the Cartecay, and half a dozen waterfall trails.

Hike all day. Come back to a hot tub, a fire pit, and nobody around for it. That's the whole idea. 🍂

Last call — the cabin's empty this weekend and we'd rather it wasn't. 🔥

September 18, 19, 20. Tomorrow through Sunday. Everything's clean, the fire pit's stocked, and the hot tub is already hot.

If you can throw a bag in the car tomorrow after work, you can be sitting right here by dark. Ellijay is about two hours from most of Atlanta.

Serious question for whoever runs your group chat. 🎬

It's 9pm. Everybody's back from the trail, the fire's burned down to coals, and one person wanders downstairs and flips on the projector.

What's the movie your crew ALWAYS ends up putting on? 👇

We've heard it all from this room — a full Lord of the Rings marathon, the same Christmas movie in the middle of July, and one group that never made it to a movie at all because nobody could pull themselves off the arcade.
