I heard what sounded like a stampede so I stopped and looked. Just then 5 deer jumped out of the woods to cross the road. As I walked up and could see the meadow, there were 4 more. Larkin kept going and flushed out a flock of wild turkey. Then a hawk followed. Shortly after, we watched an eagle flying overhead.
