This shelter dog has spent 3 years curled up in a kennel, waiting to be chosen 🥺

Every single day, this gentle old Rottweiler curls up on her blanket in the corner of her kennel — the only place she’s ever felt even a little safe. She doesn’t have much, just a soft spot to rest her tired body and the hope that today might finally be her day.

She never barks for attention.
She never pushes forward when people walk by.
She simply lifts her eyes — quietly, patiently, heartbreakingly — wishing someone would notice her.

For three long years, she has watched other dogs find families while she remains behind.
Three years of waiting for a hand to reach out to her.
Three years of falling asleep on the same worn bedding, dreaming of a home she’s never known.

She may be older. She may move a little slower. But her heart? It’s full — overflowing with love she’s been saving for the person who chooses her at last.

She’s ready.
She’s deserving.
She just needs to be seen.
