Florida Strikes Major Blow Against Property Taxes
Florida lawmakers just took a huge step forward on Governor Ron DeSantis’ plan to wipe out property taxes for primary homeowners. Committees in both the House and Senate gave strong approval to the constitutional amendment, clearing the path for full floor votes.
This is real conservative relief. The proposal starts with massive homestead exemptions of $150,000 to $250,000 that would already eliminate taxes for most Florida families. Once fully passed by voters, it ends the annual government raid on your home equity for good.
No more politicians treating hardworking homeowners like cash machines. DeSantis is delivering on limited government and putting money back in the pockets of Floridians who earned it. If the legislature finishes the job and voters approve it, this will be a game-changing victory for freedom and property rights in the Sunshine State. History in the making. See less
