-Out-of-State Residents: New residents moving to Florida after December 31, 2026,⏳must wait five years before qualifying for the enhanced exemption. ***This one is definitely one to pay attention to if you are thinking of holding off on purchasing this year.***

-Commercial & Vacation Properties: The annual cap on assessment increases for non-homestead properties (such as rental units, vacation homes, and commercial real estate) will drop from 10% to 5%.💸
