Against my gentle encouragement, they price their home too high just to 'see what happens.'

But you can keep buying stress to a minimum if you keep these three things in mind. 🔑🏠

1) Stick to your budget.

Nothing adds more stress than pushing the limits of what you feel comfortable with financially. Get pre-approved and decide on the top end of your budget.

2) Lean on your agent.

Do your research when choosing an agent. When you’ve found one you trust, lean on their expertise to guide you through the process.

3) Follow your instincts.

If something doesn't feel right during your search, say so. Ask questions and only consider homes you truly love and meet your needs.

Instead, opt for a few carefully chosen items that you really love. Seriously, if you don’t love it, it’s got no place in your home!

Here are some simple fall ideas to add a touch of autumn charm to your space:👇

• Tuck eucalyptus leaves into vases for a fresh, fragrant touch.
• Drape a cozy chunky knit throw over your sofa and add a warm colored fall throw pillow.
• Create a simple seasonal centerpiece by adding an arrangement of small gourds and pumpkins to your dining table.
• Swap your front door summer wreath with one inspired by fall (think dried flowers & grasses)
• Welcome guests with an autumn-inspired mat on your front porch. My fave pattern? Black and white buffalo check.
