🚨 Spring in Estes Park reminder! 🚨

Mama elk are no joke this time of year. While walking outside my house, I found myself making a quick retreat behind a cage when this protective new mom decided I was a little too close for comfort. 😅

If you’re visiting Estes Park this spring and summer, be sure to give elk moms and their babies plenty of space. They may look calm, but they’re incredibly protective and can move a lot faster than you might think!

The good news? Watching these amazing animals from a safe distance is one of the many things that makes living in and visiting Estes Park so special.

Have you ever had a close encounter with wildlife in the Rockies?

One of the things I love about living in Estes Park is that even a quick walk can turn into something pretty amazing.

Stopped by Sprague Lake and watched these trout cruising through the clear water. It’s a simple scene, but moments like this are a reminder of why so many people fall in love with the mountain lifestyle.

Whether it’s hiking, fishing, wildlife watching, or just enjoying the peace and quiet, there is something special about calling this place home.

Ever wonder what a day in the life of a realtor looks like?

A big part of my job is helping buyers find the right home, but another part is getting out and touring properties throughout Estes Park so I know exactly what’s available when someone calls looking for their perfect mountain retreat.

These photos are from a recent drive through the Windcliff area, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Estes Park. The views are incredible, the setting is peaceful, and it’s hard to beat waking up to scenery like this every day.

One of the things I enjoy most about real estate is getting to know the different neighborhoods and helping people find the place that feels like home.

If you’re thinking about buying, selling, investing, or just want to learn more about the Estes Park market, I’d love to chat and see how I can help.

Keep an eye out for the Norhern lights tonight. Hoping we will get to see them again. Had a pretty spectacular show last year!

Eyes to the sky tonight

There’s a chance the northern lights could be visible farther south than usual tonight, Thursday, June 4, into early Friday, June 5, thanks to a strong geomagnetic storm watch from NOAA.

For Estes Park, visibility is definitely not guaranteed, but it may be worth stepping outside after dark, especially between about 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Look north, find the darkest spot you can safely access, and give your phone’s night mode a try. Sometimes the camera catches what your eyes can’t.

Clouds may make things tricky tonight, so consider this your friendly “maybe, but look up anyway” mountain moment.

I’m proud to be a member of the Estes Valley Board of Realtors and excited to help spread the word about this great community initiative!

The Estes Valley Board of Realtors received a grant to provide free pheromone packets to help residents protect trees from mountain pine beetles. Packets will be distributed this Saturday, June 6, on a first-come, first-served basis.

If the free packets run out, you’ll still be able to place an order for additional packets. Please bring cash or a check if you’d like to purchase extra packets or if you miss out on the free distribution.

A big thank you to the Estes Valley Fire Protection District for allowing us to use their location for the distribution and for supporting efforts to keep Estes Park’s forests healthy.

One of the many things I love about living and working in Estes Park is how our community comes together to care for the place we call home. 🌲🏔️

One of the best parts of showing homes in Estes Park? You never know who might stop by for a tour! 🏔️🏡

While out showing property yesterday, we had an unexpected visitor join us—a local marmot who seemed pretty interested in the mountain lifestyle. 🦫

Between the incredible views, abundant wildlife, and amazing homes, every day in Estes Park is a little different. That’s one of the many reasons I love helping people find their place in the mountains.

Thinking about making Estes Park home? I’d be happy to show you around—marmot sightings not guaranteed! 😄

Nothing better than a summer day on Lake Estes 🚣‍♂️☀️

Had a blast kayaking with Oliver today and soaking in everything that makes mountain living so special. The views, the fresh air, the slower pace… this is why we love calling Estes Park home.

One of the best parts about living in the mountains is that adventures like this can happen on an ordinary afternoon. Whether it’s lake days, hiking trails, wildlife sightings, or just enjoying the scenery, Estes Park has a way of making everyday life feel pretty incredible.

If you’ve ever thought about making the mountain lifestyle your everyday lifestyle, let’s connect!
