A LOOK AT OUR LOCAL ECONOMY!

I had the opportunity today to attend an economic outlook presented by Huntington Bank, covering the U.S., West Virginia, and right here in Morgantown.

The overall message was encouraging! 🇺🇸📈

I’ve created a takeaway sheet from my notes with some of their talking points in the presentation.

There are certainly things to watch, particularly inflation and energy prices, but overall it was great to hear some positive news about the economy and especially the strength of Morgantown and North Central West Virginia.

A big thank you to Huntington Bank for investing in our local business community and taking the time to share this information with us. It’s valuable for business owners to understand the bigger economic picture we’re operating in!

💪 A HUGE thank you to the local companies helping us transform our new property!

Over the past 3 months, we’ve removed a LOT of stuff — including:

🗑️ 15 dump trailer loads
🚛 3 — 40-yard dumpsters
🚚 2 box trucks full of items

We couldn’t have done it without Mr. James with Bearcat Enterprises, Scrap It West Virginia, Graybeard Junk Removal, and Martin Junk Removal!

We truly appreciate all the time, hard work, and effort each of you put into helping us give the property a fresh, clean start. ❤️

More work to come — and we’re excited to show you what we’re turning this place into! 🏗️🚚

Country Roads Moving was excited to attend the ribbon cutting for the new Dave & Buster’s! We even had a surprise bear sighting… thankfully, this one was friendly! 🐻⚾️

We’re always happy to support new businesses and exciting additions to our community. And hey, when we’re not busy moving people, we might just have to make some time for a little Dave & Buster’s downtime! 🎮🏆

Celebrating a new addition to our community!

Country Roads Moving was proud to attend the ribbon cutting for a new park right here on our street! Shay, our Manager, Jake, our Owner, and Brandon, one of our Team Leads, were there to show our support for the City of Fairmont and the local leaders who helped make this project possible.

We’re especially proud to stand alongside our fellow Rotarians who played a part in bringing this park to life. ❤️

We love seeing our community come together to create spaces that make Fairmont a better place to live, work, and grow!
