Final destination: Last night's cake was made to celebrate the June birthdays of my fellow Realtors at Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Premier, where we always have the best food for our monthly meetings. Now I am both prepared for the revised Virginia real estate contracts and stuffed with Peruvian chicken and chocolate cake, a nice way to head into the weekend. 🤣

Hanging out in Columbia Heights getting ready for a new listing coming next month. Nice to see how my old neighborhood has changed! Next trip I'm making time to sit in Rue's Cafe, my clients tell me it's great (and if the chocolate eclair they bought for me is an indication, they're right 😊).

I am thrilled to share that I’ve been named the 2023 vice chair for the Grievance Committee of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS (NVAR)! Before you ask, Grievance doesn’t have anything to do with the Festivus Airing of Grievances.😀 Actually, the Grievance Committee is responsible for reviewing arbitration claims and written complaints involving possible violations of the REALTOR Code of Ethics. After serving as a member of the committee in 2022, it’s an honor to be asked to increase my role. I strongly believe that maintaining high standards for ethics and honesty is one of the best ways to serve and protect our clients as they undertake some of the largest financial transactions in their lives. Thank you to NVAR for giving me the opportunity to serve!
