FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A proposal that would expand the Fayetteville Farmers Market is on the agenda for the City of Fayetteville’s next session.

The market submitted a request to amend the city’s code that would extend the current season from May to September and will allow alcohol to be sold.

Organizers also want to add Tuesday evening market hours after the success of “Sunset on the Square” last October.
