Farewell, Summer.
This was taken back in July on the Shiawassee River — my favorite season, hands down. Growing up in Fenton, I never realized how far this river travels or how many lakes it shapes… Fenton Millpond and Lake Ponemah to name a few.
Already missing these days.

This was taken last month when Michigan was blanketed by Canadian wildfire smoke. We were vacationing up north at the time, and the smoke stuck around until our last day there.

We stayed at the Lakeview Hotel earlier this month. We had a King Studio with an adjoining two-bed guest room. It was perfect for our family. This video is a quick tour of the two rooms starting with the guest room.
