HUGE congratulations to our Cross Country Lady Pirates! All of the hard work, dedication, and those early morning practices in the dark before school have paid off for these incredible ladies. Coach Dave says it's very much a David vs Goliath scenario going up against all of the big time private schools but boy did David prevail today. Top public school in regionals and on to states they go! Congratulations to our Ladies and Coaches. No one deserves it more. So proud of our girls. 💙💛💙💛

Every once in a while someone extra special comes into your life when you are least expecting it. I was going along my merry way working one day and got a call from my amazing pastor. His friend and mentor was ready to come home, he said. Would you mind helping him, he asked. First of all, I cannot begin to describe how honored I was to be asked. In case you didn't know, pastors know A LOT of people. Well long story short (anyone who knows me can read the sarcasm here because I am never short) I was introduced to the incredible Dr. Elston Ricky Perry and the rest was history. On our journey to find his home I was fortunate enough to hear so many amazing stories of his experiences and escapades around the world and I have to tell you, I've never met anyone like him. The lives he has touched and the things he has done truly humbled me. I learned more from simply driving him around and listening for a few days than I have in an entire year. We were able to quickly find the right fit for him and after a few short weeks (a big shout-out to miss Abbey Selvidge for yet again being on the ball) I am honored to say welcome home, Dr. Perry! It's people like this that make it impossible for me to call what I do a job. It's so much more than that. Truly blessed.

Having been a real estate agent for over a decade, you would think you'd have an idea what to expect. But you don't. In our world we have to learn to adapt and change course on a dime, to let things happen as they should... because sometimes God has a different plan and I am telling you it's amazing. That's not to say you don't bust your behind and do everything in your power to get things done, because you do. But there is a difference between working hard and forcing something. You can work 14 hours a day on the right thing and see amazing results. Transactions aren't always about advertising and cold calling. I am proud to say to this day I have worked on a strictly word of mouth, referral, God putting people I am meant to help in my path basis and this beautiful family was the perfect example. Real estate transactions shouldn't be about pressure and stress. Don't get me wrong, there is a ton that goes into them behind the scenes especially and yes I do get stressed from time to time. Real estate transactions are about helping someone be where God intends for them to be, and helping them on that journey. To take as much off of them as you can and at the end of the day, seeing that smile when they get that key and know they are exactly where they are meant to be.....home. I was truly blessed to work with this beautiful family. They weren't strongly considering buying and the seller wasn't strongly considering selling....but things happened and fell into place. It's funny, if one chance conversation hadn't been had, if when out for a drive we hadn't decided to turn left instead of right, if even one of the minute infinitesimal minor things hadn't happened....this post wouldn't exist. And after 40 days I am proud to welcome this incredible family to the home that they not only wanted but needed. This right here is why we do what we do. We grind, we toss and turn on behalf of our customers, and this... this makes it all worth it. Welcome home Deems family. 🙏🏼💕🏡
