🏡 Gig Harbor Open Houses This Weekend: May 29 & May 31, 2026

Thinking about buying, browsing, or just curious what's out there? This weekend is a great chance to walk through some of Gig Harbor's current listings in person, no appointment needed. I've put together the full list of open houses happening this weekend right here on my website.

👇 Click the link in comments to see addresses, times, and details for every open house in Gig Harbor this weekend.

And if something catches your eye or you want to know more about any of these homes before you walk in, message me. I know this market and I'm happy to give you the inside scoop.

The real estate industry lied to you about the "forever home." I helped tell that lie. I'm fixing it now.

We sold you a fairy tale. 🏰

"Buy the biggest house you can afford." "It's forever, you'll grow into it." "More square footage = more success."
And some of you did EXACTLY that. You bought big. You filled it up. You raised your whole life in it.

And now the kids are gone and you're vacuuming square footage you haven't stepped on since 2019 Christmas.

Nobody ever told you:
IT IS OKAY TO OUTGROW YOUR FOREVER HOME.

Forever homes have expiration dates. Not because something went wrong, because YOUR LIFE WORKED. The kids grew up. You succeeded. You GOT HERE.

Staying out of loyalty to a version of your life that's already complete isn't noble.
It's exhausting. And it's costing you money every single month.

The next chapter isn't a consolation prize. For most of my clients it's the best home they've ever lived in, because for the first time they chose it for who they actually ARE.

👇 Did you buy a "forever home"? Where are you with it now? Tell me everything. I have opinions and I'm not shy.

If your house burned down tonight and you had to start over, would you rebuild the exact same one?

Same size. Same maintenance. Same square footage to heat, clean, and carry.
Or would you build something different?
Something that fits who you ARE now, not who you were when you signed those papers 18 years ago.

I ask this question in consultations sometimes. People think I'm being dramatic.
They always answer immediately. No hesitation.

Almost nobody says yes.
And then we sit in the silence of that answer for a second.
Because the house isn't on fire. But if you already know you'd choose differently, what exactly are you waiting for?

You built equity for a reason. You have options for a reason. The only question is whether you're ready to use them.

👇 Be honest in the comments: Would you rebuild the same one? No judgment, just curious what people actually say when they answer truthfully.

Your home is clean. Well-maintained. Maybe even has a brand new roof.

And buyers might still walk out without making an offer.
After 17 years of selling homes in Gig Harbor, I've seen it happen more times than I can count.

The truth? Buyers decide in the first 60 seconds, before they've opened a single closet.

In my newest post, I'm breaking down exactly what's turning buyers away in 2026 and what you can do about it before you list.

Some of it you may already suspect.
Some of it might genuinely surprise you.

If you're thinking about selling this year, whether you're right-sizing, relocating, or just starting to explore, this is worth a read before you do anything else.

I'm publicly calling out every Gig Harbor homeowner who said "maybe next year" in 2023.
AND 2024.
AND 2025.

👀 I see you. Still in the 4-bedroom house. Still mowing that lawn. Still cleaning bathrooms nobody uses. Still saying "when the market is better."

Babe. THREE YEARS.

Three years of carrying costs. Three years of maintenance. Three years of a house that stopped fitting your life before the pandemic ended.

Here's what kills me: the market didn't wait for you. Values held. Life kept going. And you're still watching the Fed like it's a sports team you bet on.

I'm not shaming you. I'm shaking you. Lovingly. With both hands. 😂
The "perfect time" you've been waiting for? It was last Tuesday. It's also RIGHT NOW.

👇 How many years have you been saying "maybe next year"? Drop it in the comments. No judgment, just math.

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country.

From the shores of Gig Harbor, Washington, we remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the families who carry their legacy forward.

Memorial Day is not just a long weekend. It is a moment to reflect, remember, and say thank you to those who never made it home.

Gig Harbor thanks you for your service and so does StaciaSellsHomes.

This is The Lakes 🌊
140 homes. Two lakes. Fountains. Walking paths. And most people in Gig Harbor have never even heard of it.
This is one of the true 55+ communities on the Peninsula and it is the largest one by a lot. That means you actually have real community here, not just a handful of houses.
Single level layouts. Less maintenance. And the kind of neighborhood where you finally have the space to exhale.
If you are an empty nester or thinking about right-sizing in Gig Harbor, save this one. You are going to want to come back to it. 👇

What the big real estate teams won't tell you about who is ACTUALLY working on your listing. I ran a big office. I know how the sausage is made. Here we go. 🌭

You meet the lead agent. Charming. Experienced. Has a great presentation. You sign.
Here's what happens next in a LOT of team setups:
👉 Your listing gets handed to the newest licensed person on the team
👉 That person is learning the job on YOUR house
👉 You call with a question and get a different voice every time
👉 The experienced agent you hired is out getting their next listing

I'm not throwing shade at every team, some run them brilliantly. But the factory model exists and YOUR HOME is on the assembly line.

Here's what you get with me: Me. Every call. Every showing. Every negotiation. Every problem at 9pm on a Friday.

I LEFT managing 40 agents ON PURPOSE because I wanted to do the actual WORK, not manage the people doing it.

You deserve the most experienced person on your file. Not the one who happened to be available.

👇 Have you ever hired the lead agent and gotten someone else? Tell me what that was like. I'll just be over here nodding.

When you hire Stacia, you get Stacia. Full stop. Let's talk about selling your Gig Harbor home the right way.

This is Madrona Woods ⛳
Gated. Single level. Yard work done for you. And a garage for your golf cart.
Oh and you are right next to Madrona Links Golf Course with a restaurant on site.
This is one of the true 55+ communities in Gig Harbor and it might be the most dialed-in one on the Peninsula. Everyone knows everyone here and you are close to downtown Gig Harbor, the highway, and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
Less maintenance. More weekends. That is right-sizing done right.
If you are an empty nester or thinking about making a move in Gig Harbor, save this one and send it to someone who needs to see it. 👇

It's Opening Day at the Gig Harbor Farmers Market and what a beautiful day to kick it off! 🌸
Every Thursday • May 21 – August 27, 2026 • 1PM – 6PM

From fresh flowers and locally grown produce to food vendors and local artists. There is truly something for everyone. My personal highlights today:
🍁 Macintosh Hill Maple Works: The "Syrup Man" from Vermont whose son served here, fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, and stayed. Now dad brings the maple syrup to us. What a story.
🍯 Shipwreck Apiaries: Local honey at its finest. I grabbed the blackberry blossom and it is absolutely incredible.
🎨 Misty from Bremerton: Her art is whimsical, a little mysterious, and completely captures your heart. I walked away with two prints and a magnet and zero regrets.

This is what community looks like. Come out any Thursday and experience it for yourself! Follow along for more local Gig Harbor favorites. 🌿
