Builder Spotlight: McIntosh Homes LLC

Dawn McIntosh, President of McIntosh Homes LLC, has been in the construction industry for more than 38 years. As an interior designer, builder, remodeler, and project manager, she brings experience across all aspects of residential construction. Alongside a team of trade professionals she has partnered with over the years, Dawn focuses on new construction and remodeling projects throughout Dane County.

For Dawn, building homes starts with listening. Her approach centers on understanding what her clients want and need, then guiding them through the process to bring that vision to life while staying on schedule and within budget. That hands-on philosophy carries through every stage of the build, from selections and design appointments to milestone walkthroughs during construction. Regularly onsite, Dawn values being accessible to both her clients and their projects throughout the process.

When asked what sets McIntosh Homes apart, Dawn points to the functionality of her work. Clients often describe her homes as “livable,” noting that “the spaces all make sense and the homes flow,” making it easy to picture themselves living there.
