🤗Just a little throw back to building 102 Rebecca Lane....

The BOSS got brave today. I guess you could say I got promoted👏👏👏.

📏✏️ 🪚I got a measurer, pencil and a large board to help me read the tape 🤣Oh! and I got to use the big boy toys and cut wood with the measurements he provided BUT I had to measure and cut all by myself.

❓️❓️❓️I have a question. Do you read the tape left to right or right to left? Who knew this really was a debate......

🤯I could not for the life of me make it make sense in my brain as to where the blade should go because Michael reads the tape right to left, which in my opinion, is backward 🤷🏼‍♀️. I didn't really grasp this until he made me my cheater board and it started with 15/16. Anyway, we figured it out. We are just different here. He fixed the board to the way my brain has been trained to read its entire life and that is left to right. With that small correction I was good and things started to come together.

I do have to say that there is a benefit of reading it right to left, backwards AND upside down, if you are right handed because it is hard to make your mark with your left hand but I just can't. That also means the math is backwards and the board goes the other way and the blade is on the other side of the mark. I just can't twist my brain all the way around like that🤦🏼‍♀️

Guess what though....... his boards fit and my boards fit so there is always more than one way to get the same result👍.

I'm thankful for this experience and that he is sooooo patient with me🙃
