We are always looking for ways to improve the communities we live in and serve - and Windermere's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts do just that. Guided by our four pillars - community, home ownership, leadership, and culture - Windermere has been focused on creating DEI initiatives aimed at making our organization more diverse and homeownership more equitable. Some of those initiatives include:
🔹 The Sam Smith "Hi Neighbor" Homeownership fund, which aims to help low-to-moderate-income home buyers who have been historically underserved by traditional lenders attain their first home.
🔹 The Aspire Internship program was created to help provide support, mentoring, and skill-building to students from historically underrepresented or marginalized groups and/or those with lived experiences with housing insecurity.
🔹 The WIN Scholarship Program, which was created after recognizing the need to build and support a diverse community of new agents.
