Hello everyone! In 2025, I spent three transformative months in France renovating my childhood home and settling my late father’s affairs. I also traveled with my husband, giving him a tour of beautiful places like Nice, Monaco, and Eze for my birthday. Later, we enjoyed our home in North Carolina together. It’s been a year of reflection, love, and adventure. Here’s to new beginnings in the coming year!

🎉✨ Belated Birthday Celebrations!✨🎉

Yesterday was all about catching up with my amazing girls after my time in France! 🇫🇷 We celebrated my belated birthday with laughter, love, and so much fun.

We played Rumi—my new obsession that I’m determined to conquer! 🃏 We enjoyed a delicious lunch and caught up on life, and honestly, it felt like no time had passed at all. I just wish we had more time together! Here’s to our new outings and a little friendly competition, cowgirls! 🤠🥗

A Year Without You, Dad

Today marks one year since I lost my incredible father. It feels like I’ve been on a nonstop journey since you left us. This past year has been a crash course in living as an adult in France, and I’ve learned so much in such a short time. I often hear and think about your words—how you believed I would find a new home here and create a beautiful life. I hear your words in my actions and find comfort in knowing that I’m not alone in this.

Restoring your childhood home has been a profound experience, connecting me to our family’s history and the love you instilled in that home. I’ve kept it in the same style but have restored it to its original form. I think you would all approve of it. I’ve come to truly cherish the people, the food, the wine, and the beautiful surroundings. Seeing the countryside in various lights throughout the day is truly a gift. Thank you for that amazing gift. It feels like home in ways I never expected, and I see so much of you in me—our shared tastes, hard work, love for adventure, and drive in life.

As I reflect on this year, I realize how much I’ve grown and how your spirit continues to guide me. You taught me to embrace life’s challenges and to find joy in every moment, just as you did. I miss our conversations and your wisdom more than words can express. I wish I had learned all of this when you were here.

Thank you for being my father, my mentor, and my inspiration. I love you, and I carry your memory with me every day.
