MEET REMY - LCSO'S NEWEST BLOODHOUND PUPPY!
Hi, I’m Re*****on and I’m very proud to join the LCSO K9 unit! They call me Remy for short!
I’m a bloodhound puppy – but don’t worry I’ll grow pretty fast and will be helping to solve cases very soon! You know, I was bred for police work.
My dad has a police dog bloodline and my mom told me I have the disposition (whatever that means) to do police work too!
Jessica Blair, of Buckingham, owns my parents and since she’s a big fan of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and especially the K9 unit, she donated me to LCSO!
I’m pretty proud to be the first male bloodhound to work for LCSO in the past decade. They also tell me that call volume for bloodhounds has gone up in the past year, so after my training is over, I’ll be ready for action – and not just here in Lee County. Did you know we also assist other counties and police departments that don’t have bloodhounds?
Anyway, I’m glad to be a part of LCSO and I look forward to sniffing you soon!
