This one is really cool. Meet Dan and Nicole. 3 months ago, Joanne and I get paired up with Dan at Whisper Creek for a round of golf. He asks what I do and I tell him I'm retired. Joanne eventually lets the cat out of the bag and says we are Realtors in Florida and Chicago. He says, Oh I just listed my home in Pingree Grove a few weeks ago and we haven't had any showings, yadda yadda. They exchange info and a month later he texts us and we start talking. That day on Par 3 Hole 14, I drop my tee shot four inches from the cup...instant credibility! A couple weeks later they fire their Agent and list their home with us. Three days later we have multiple offers, yesterday we closed, and today we celebrate where it all started...Whisper Creek. Hole 14, I drop my tee shot two feet from the cup and I look at him and said "Yea man, usually I get closer than this". Great ending to a great story, and we couldn't be happier for these two. Back on a flight to FL tomorrow, and back at it again next week. I love my life!!!

I can tell you with certainty that this a thing. SW Florida is where it's at. Cape Coral is 20 minutes up the road from us, and I believe there are many many options. Whether it's a second home or a full move, Joanne and I are waiting for your call!

Being licensed in both states has many benefits…

Jeff and I are so excited to have helped get their Florida home under contract (and closed for over appraised value) and then they won a multiple offer bid for their new Del Webb Illinois home with a home close contingency! (Yes, it can be done). No short term rental and no moving twice!! 
They are awesome people and we were lucky to help in both states for a smooth transaction. We wish them all the best knowing they are back home and no longer missing Lou Malnati’s and Portillo’s!

PS…Sorry we crashed your new home and surprised you on day 2 after moving in but we TOLD you we’d stop in!!

Jeff and I get so invested in our clients' stories. We sold their Glen Ellyn Condo in 3 days with 45 showings, 9 offers and we slept well KNOWING they got TOP Dollar for this condo! What did we do during those 45 showings? We all flew down to Florida to show them their new home which we helped them purchase as well. We adjusted the closing dates so they coincided with each other and also ensured the builder knew they had a home close contingency, etc. They are now Floridians and we couldn't be happier! Congrats guys!!

How's the Florida market? Just closed on this beautiful villa in Esplanade Lake Club. One of our favorite communities in SW Florida. 6 minutes from RSW, 2-2.5 hours from Miami, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando! Close to all the good stuff...shopping, restaurants, spring training games, concert venues.

How is the Illinois Market? We have a beautiful Bowes Creek listing under contract as well as a perfect family home in Pingree Grove!! Buying or selling in either place, we are here (or there) for you. We are 2 strong who fly back and forth for our buyers and sellers!

Yes interest rates are higher but it is STILL a seller's market with low inventory.
