For the past several years, we’ve had the privilege of helping people buy and sell homes as Alabama Living. As we’ve grown, so has the area we serve — and it felt like just the right time for a name that could grow with us.

I thought this was too cool not to share!!

I grew up in Nebraska and my maiden name is Carnes. My grandpa owned Carnes Realty & Auction.

Years later, I married into the Biddle family. While cleaning out my husband’s grandpa’s house, we came across this Biddle Real Estate sign.

Seeing these two signs hanging together just amazes me. Two different families, two different states, two generations later.

I’ve always believed God reveals Himself in the little things and this is one of those moments for me. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how He was writing a story I never could have planned.

I’m so thankful for the way He has been faithful through every step of this journey.

June Recap!!

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through 2026! Here are a few highlights from this month:

• Visited the Grand Tetons & Yellowstone with Brady
• Welcomed our sweet new niece (she is beautiful)
• Ran the Rainsville Freedom Run
• Got my biggest listing to date
• Continued working with some amazing buyers
• Hosted our church’s annual summer cookout
• Read some great books
• Vacationed with my family & enjoyed much needed quality time
• And I turned 22!!

I am so grateful to be part of an organization that is committed to giving back to our community. The Northeast Alabama Association of Realtors Community Service Committee recently hosted a Charity Bingo fundraiser benefiting Marked for Life Ministries, and it was such an honor to support a ministry that is making a real difference in the lives of so many. Through free healthcare, food assistance, educational opportunities, laundry services, and other vital resources, Marked for Life Ministries serves our community with compassion, dignity, and hope. It is inspiring to see Realtors come together not only to help people find homes, but also to help meet the needs of our neighbors.
