We hope everyone made it safely through Isaias!

Thanks to an awesome group of team members who volunteered to come in, we’ll be opening Pink Coyote today at 4 PM (maybe earlier if we can pull it off!) and staying open until at least 8 PM.

We never lost power or WiFi, so if you need a place to cool off and charge your devices, come on in! We just ask that you charge one device at a time and unplug once you have enough battery so everyone gets a turn.

Free coffee for our first responders (police, fire, and paramedics), and plenty of sweet treats for anyone needing a little break from the cleanup.

We’ll resume regular hours Sunday, 12–9 PM.

🌀 Hurricane Isaias: Points of Distribution (POD)
Okaloosa County will be deploying the first Point of Distribution (POD) for Okaloosa residents at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Destin-Fort Walton Rigdon Center (formerly NWF Fairgrounds) at 1319 Lewis Turner Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547

POD locations will have bottles of water, tarps and Meals Ready to Eat (MREs)
POD distribution is for Okaloosa County residents in need of these items. POD locations will expand throughout the County as supplies arrive.

We have about ten-ish hours to landfall with a strengthening storm scooting closer to us. Hang tight y'all and BE SAFE

Good Morning,

Hurricane Isaias is starting to show his ugly face....

At this time, we are officially announcing the piers closure as we brace for the impact of this storm.

At Noon today, we will lock things down and our staff will head home to hunker down.

We are just as nervous as everyone else is with the fate of the pier with this storm.

We withstood Ivan, and countless waterspouts and other wild weather through the years, but yes this situation does have us worried and and little emotional.

The fishing was just getting good too.....

We sit here with heavy hearts and all we can do is hope and pray that we can pull through and get back to work and give you all a place to come create memories.

After the storm, it is a whole process before we get that door back open. Patience...... Maybe head on over and see our neighbors at the other piers and bless them with your business that you have so graciously spoiled us with over the years.

There will be damage, hopefully just a few flesh wounds! There will be clean up!!!!! (The beach will be in the parking lot)

LISTEN TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES and STAY HOME! Once we are told it is safe to return WE WILL BE HERE and the work will begin!

Now is the time where we come together for our neighbors, our friends, families and communities.

Hi visiting friends - if you want a red light, please just pop by the Visit Destin-Fort Walton Beach visitors center on Okaloosa Island by Beasley Park, it's a beautiful space, and they give out the flashlights for free :)
