Mortgages are a lot like raising children—it truly takes a village.
This timeline shows a loan that was Clear to Close in less than 10 days, and that included a three-day holiday weekend. While that sounds impressive, it didn't happen because of one person. It happened because of a group of professionals who all did their part exceptionally well.
The relationships between lenders, Realtors, title companies, and home inspectors are invaluable. When everyone communicates, trusts each other, and works toward the same goal, things move faster and smoother for the client.
What many people don't see is the team behind the scenes. Loan officers rely heavily on assistants, processors, underwriters, closers, and support staff who work tirelessly to keep everything on track. Every phone call, every document reviewed, and every deadline met plays a role in getting a family to the closing table.
I've learned over the years that experience matters, but relationships matter too. Having a trusted network of professionals who genuinely care about doing what's right for the client can make all the difference.
I'm grateful for the amazing people I get to work alongside every day. This closing is a great reminder that no one gets to the finish line alone.
