As we celebrate 250 years as a nation, I'm reminded that some of life's greatest blessings are the simple ones—faith, family, freedom, and this wonderful place we call home.

I hope today is filled with laughter around the table, time with the people you love, and a renewed appreciation for the freedoms so many have sacrificed to protect.

Some home purchases are extra special, and this was one of them. ❤️

After spending 40 years serving as missionaries overseas, my buyers are beginning a brand-new chapter—retiring and moving to Fort Worth to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

They bought this home without ever stepping inside it.

Thanks to FaceTime tours, lots of photos, and the incredible help of their son and daughter-in-law (who were truly their boots on the ground), they were able to confidently purchase the perfect home from halfway around the world.

The story gets even better.

Close friends who live just four doors down happened to see this home hit the market and immediately thought of them. They knew how much my buyers would love this quiet street and the beautiful setting along the Trinity Trails.

And they were right.

The backyard opens to a peaceful meadow framed by towering trees, with an iron gate leading to miles of trails. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy your morning coffee, watch the seasons change, and simply breathe. Inside, the beautifully updated kitchen was everything they had hoped for and more.
