Fall is coming to the Utah mountains, so it’s time to start thinking about ski season and staying at our investment property in Utah!
First off: buy your season passes soon! The Epic pass (Park City) is a great deal for veterans and retired military, but it’s no longer for sale once the ski season starts. If you prefer Deer Valley, the Icon Pass is a must!
Once again the Rabbit Hole will only be open to friends and family, in addition to our past DASH Adventures clients. We are not open to the public.
This year we are not renting the full house. Dave Ashley will be home; likely skiing at Park City most days! So the three bedrooms upstairs will be available: King with attached 3/4 bath, Queen bedroom and two Singles in one bedroom that share a full bath accessed from the hallways. If needed, we can heat the garage and open up a double bed in our Airstream Trailer too.
One exception: the whole house WILL be available over Christmas/New Years!!! Please inquire soon as this time will fill up, and we’ll make plans to be away from the house (including our furry friends).
Speaking of furry friends, we will likely have a dog and perhaps a cat or two by December/January. So, pet friendly is a must.
We also offer private snowshoe tours into the nearby National Forest through DASH Adventures. We have the snowshoes and poles (20 sets) and Dave will guide you in a custom-built itinerary. Finish with hot chocolate on the hot tub back at the Rabbit Hole! Our snowshoe trips start at $50 per person and go up based on the number of trekkers and duration of the trip.
Our nightly rates vary by the date, number of people, and duration of your stay. Nearby Park City has a nightly ski season hotel room rate of over $900 per night. Our rates run around $100-$300 per night per person with discounts on weekly stays. This includes breakfast (coffee/tea, yogurt, eggs made to order, bacon/sausage) plus a one-time $50 cleaning fee per room.
Ask about renting one of our AWD/4x4 vehicles with snow tires to use in town or to the ski areas!
We are located in Kamas, a small town east of Park City with a large grocery store, liquor store, and a few restaurants. Accessing Park City or Deer Valley is easy! The Park and Ride is 17 minutes away, parking and busses are free, and they drop you off right next to the lifts!
We are also up in the mountains above 6,000 feet. You’ll avoid the heavy traffic on I-80 compared to staying down in Salt Lake City; and chains are frequently required on that busy interstate.
Did we mention the hot tub on the (new!) covered rear deck, 80 inch TV, fiber optic WiFi, and gourmet kitchen??
