Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. So far, outside of the DMV we have traveled to California, Florida & Colorado to inspect.

Even though we call the DMV home we are open to traveling to all parts of the country that we can.

With inspecting 11 homes so far this year worth over 4 million each has really reminded us that there truly are people out there that value our brand and style of inspections.

Light, Camera, Action! 🎥

I had an experience of a life time filming with the Internachi School which is the ONLY home inspector college in the country and is also accredited and recognized by the United States Department of Education!

Being recorded to show the ENTIRE country and inspector community what pre drywall inspections are all about and what the process looks like was such an honor. Of course, we filmed me inspecting the only way I know how which is at a multi million dollar house! 🤣

It is my hope that now as partner instructor with Internachi our community will be able to better understand what is needed when pre drywall inspections are conducted. All families deserve to have a safe and beautiful home to go to.

Thank you to the entire team, Dean of Education .ben.gromicko, and for making this happen. Without you all my family and I would not be blessed with where we are today. See you all out in the neighborhood! 🙏

YTD Stats!

I took a look at our companies numbers over the weekend and am proud to share what we have accomplished so far this year!

So far on the year we have inspected almost almost 190 million dollars worth of homes! With the average home in the DMV valuing at 600k the average home we inspect is pushing 1 million….. 🤯

For us this is our biggest start to the year ever! This can be attributed to our unwavering commitment to putting families first, inspecting with integrity and striving to be a shining beacon in our industry where we are constantly looking to set the standard for what a home inspection experience should be like.

Our methodical approach to inspecting homes, rooted in deep from our years of experience has led us to where we are today inspecting some of the country’s most valuable, unique and intriguing homes. Every home has a story to tell so thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to share that story with you all. See you all out in the neighborhood! 😊

As I think about my career and where I stand today there are a lot of emotions that are running through my head.

This year we seem to be going to a lot of larger than life homes. I’m getting a lot of questions about the home that I just helped to inspect that was valued at 50 Million dollars. 🤯

Lots of people are asking me what I am doing and how I grew so quickly. My response to everyone may not be what you would expect but here it goes……

It’s not about targeting a certain demographic. It’s about focusing on yourself and how you interact with others. Do the right thing. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Do the best job you can do. Respond to others in a timely fashion. Be present in the moment. Give people your undivided attention. Anticipate others needs and fill them. Be yourself. Lastly, the only person that you should be competing against is yourself. Do not worry about what others are doing. There will always be someone better than you. Wake up every day with the goal of being a better version of yourself than yesterday and everything will work out.

Thank you to Randy and the entire team for trusting me to be a part of their group to inspect this amazingly beautiful home. What a once in a lifetime experience!

Let's talk about builder tolerances! Did you know that the builder has tolerances for everything? That is the amount of wiggle room they give themselves to not install something perfectly. While I don't always agree with the builder, we do both agree that tolerances are needed. Just like in life nothing is perfect!

In the picture you can see me measuring to see if the floor is not level enough to be considered out of tolerance. Each builder has different standards. What may be considered out of tolerance for one builder may be acceptable to another.

It's important to not just have any home inspector help you with your new construction house but one that does new construction on a daily basis that is more familiar with how your specific builder will build your house. Most inspectors do not see new construction every day. If your inspector doesn't understand and isn't familiar with the different tolerances levels how will he or she be able to help you??
