Things to do in Fredericksburg, TX this weekend, and Saturday night has a scheduling problem.

Pizza in a pasture, brisket and Bordeaux, two Hill Country tailgates and a full moon night hike at Enchanted Rock, all landing between 5 and 10pm. A few are already sold out, so check before you make the drive.

Friday’s the easy call: free dance night at Luckenbach, TX. Looking for family-friendly fall events? Wildseed Farms Fall Festival on Saturday, then Boots, BBQ & Bier and Witcherfest on Sunday have the kids covered.

And if you still haven’t toured the Southern Living Idea House, it’s open thru Dec 20. Go before the holiday crowds find it.

We spend most of the week trying to get somewhere. The next meeting, the next errand, the next thing on the list.

Add this one to your Fredericksburg winery list. It’s a good one.

Reddy Vineyards. The building? Unassuming. The wine? Smooth, and some of the best I’ve had in a while.

Walk in and it’s dim lights, good music, and a lounge that has no business being this cool out here.

Why it’s a true pick: it’s 100% Texas wine, and they keep it honest. No fillers, no artificial flavors, no added sugars, and the grapes are grown glyphosate free. They’re doing it right, and you can taste it.

Went to their wine dinner last night. 10/10. Good food, good company. Nobody stayed a stranger for long, and came home with a couple bottles.

Let this be your reminder: meet your neighbors, share a table, and add this place to your list.
