Woke up the other morning with this intricate and beautiful web in a tree just off my balcony. I snapped a picture and started my day. A week or so later I was working out and listening to a Youtube episode that was recommended to me by a good friend. Near the end of the episode the topic of spiders came up and how she was seeing them everywhere. She then went on to talk about the spider totem.
Apparently the spider totem symbolizes creativity, patience, interconnectedness, and the power of the feminine. Its intricate webs represent the interconnectedness of life, the power to manifest dreams, and the delicate balance between strength and gentleness. The totem also signifies independence, as the spider works alone to build its tool (the web), and encourages overcoming fears by bravely facing challenges and examining imperfections. This really resonates with me and the major life changes I've recently made. I'm living near the ocean in a destination I've always dreamt of. I'm also in a career that I've always desired to be in. Using my God given gift in Interior Design, I wake up excited daily to be living the life I've always wanted to live. Not the one I thought I should live, not the one everyone else is living. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to raise my beautiful children to be amazing adults. Now it's my turn to utilize my creativity and tools to help others live a more beautiful life. 🙏🏼🕸️🕷️
