I think the winter we spent remodeling the DeerFox cottage will never be forgotten. 🥶😂 So many days of freezing inside and out! Every time I look back through those remodeling pictures, I’m like, OMG, that was hardcore! 😅🛠️❄️

Castle Rock Lake breeze and enough trees to make you forget what city traffic looks like. 🌲🌊
A perfect little escape where the biggest problem is deciding whether to relax by the water or enjoy the the coziness of porch. 🏡☀️

Just bring your favorite people or pups, comfy clothes, and maybe forget to check your phone for a while. (The slow Wi-Fi will help with that.) 😂😉

Well… we did it again! 🙃❤️Katarzyna Cetera Pawel Cetera
Our second Airbnb cottage is officially LIVE! 🎉

Once again, so much hard work, time, and heart went into making it what it is. There were definitely (again) more than a few “what have we gotten ourselves into?” moments along the way 😅 But seeing it all come together makes every bit of it so worth it.

And honestly, the evenings after the work was done — sitting around the fire with friends, hanging out on the beach, or getting out on the boat — made up for every sore muscle and tired day. ❤️🌅🔥

It’s pretty special getting to create these spaces and then open the doors for other people to come relax, unplug, enjoy the lake, and make some memories of their own.

So… if you know someone who needs a little getaway, we’d LOVE for you to check it out, share the post, or send them the link. 🥰

And a BIG thank you to all the people who helped along the way — some in big ways, some in small, but every bit of help meant a lot. ❤️

Now…it’s the moment we can actually sit down, relax and enjoy it for a minute before heading back home, and then let the cottage live its own little life and bring lots of happy memories to the guests who stay here. ❤️🏡🌊

I am truly amazed that after posting just one blurry picture of the new cottage, I’ve already received a bunch of inquiries about bookings! 😃
A little patience, please. ❤️ I’m giving my heart, soul, and every last crumb of free time I have to finish it up to perfection before I spend a day photographing it properly.

And I have to say… I’m quite excited for that photo session! 📸✨

Labor Day weekend is just a few days away, and the cottage will officially be open for guest bookings this Thursday! ❣️

There’s been a little something (actually twice bigger) happening behind the scenes… 🤍🏡
Our second cottage is coming together — a bit unexpected, a lot of work, and something we’re really excited about❤️🌲

We’ve been reminded through this process that good things take time. And with fall just around the corner, we’re trying to do the same.

Slow down.
Take in the moment.
Make time for family.
Be thoughtful about the spaces we create and the memories we make in them.
