The average on the 30-year fixed mortgage is currently at 6.19%, near the lowest in 3 years. The current homebuyers would be saving around $200 per month on average compared to if the rates were at 7% as was the case earlier in the year.

Moreover, workers on average are getting 3.5% raise or around $150 higher income per month. The latest wage rate at $36.86 per hour.

Housing is become more affordable (or at least less unaffordable).
