Be honest…

How many times have you ended up scrolling through house listings late at night just to “look”?

We’ve all done it.

The fun part is imagining yourself there. The important part is knowing what fits your budget and what steps can help you get there.

A dream home starts with a game plan. 🏡

Some days it feels like everyone else is buying a house while you’re just trying to keep up with rent, groceries, and life.

The truth? A lot of people feel the same way.

Homeownership isn’t a race, and there’s no “right” timeline. The market looks different than it did for previous generations, which means the path to buying a home looks different too.

If buying a home feels impossible right now, don’t write it off completely. Sometimes the first step is simply understanding your options and making a plan.

Have you ever wondered if buying a home is realistic for you, or does it feel completely out of reach right now?

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re in your 20s and have no idea whether you should rent, buy, save, invest, or move back home… that’s pretty normal.

I talk to people all the time who think everyone else has it figured out. Trust me, most don’t.

The goal isn’t to make the “perfect” financial decision. It’s to make the best decision for where you are right now.

And if buying a home is something you’re thinking about, it never hurts to ask questions and see what your options actually are.

What camp are you in right now: renting, buying, saving, or still figuring it out?

Friendly reminder: don’t reject yourself before a lender does.

I’ve seen so many people assume they can’t buy a home because of their credit score, only to find out they had more options than they thought.

Your credit score is important, but it isn’t the whole story.

If homeownership is one of your goals, start by getting information. You don’t need a perfect score to have a conversation.

One of my favorite parts of this job will always be making that call ☎️

The one where I get to say:
“you’re approved.”

Never gets old!

A lot of first-time buyers think they need 20% down before they can even start thinking about buying a home.

But honestly, that is not always true.

20% down can be helpful, but it is not the only option. Depending on your situation, there may be loan options that let you buy with less money upfront.

I think this is why so many people count themselves out before they even ask questions. They assume they are not ready, when really, they might just need someone to walk them through the numbers and explain what their options actually look like.

Buying a home can feel intimidating, especially the first time. But you do not have to know everything before you start.

Sometimes the first step is simply asking, “What would this look like for me?”

You might be closer than you think.

Not everyone feels “100% ready” before buying a home and that’s normal.

But if your income is steady, you’ve got some savings, and you’re starting to wonder what you could actually get approved for, you’re probably closer than you think.

A lot of people wait too long because they think they need everything perfect first.

You don’t.

If you’re even a little curious, we can just look at your numbers and see where you stand.
