The Canada geese often seen around Tapestry are part of a migratory corridor that stretches from Canada through the northern United States and into Texas. Following rivers, wetlands, and open green spaces, many find everything they need right here among our ponds, creeks, mature trees, and preserved natural areas.
They’re not the only visitors. Monarch butterflies pass through during migration, colorful flycatchers return each season, and bluebirds, cardinals, and turtles have become familiar neighbors.
It’s a simple reminder that when a community is designed around nature, nature tends to show up.
