On this day, as we remember the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we cannot help but be reminded of a significant part of his legacy - equitable and affordable housing for all. Housing was a crucial part of Dr. King's vision for economic justice. The Fair Housing Act was signed into law as a result of his dedication and ultimate sacrifice to this work.

We are affiliated with Columbus REALTORS, who accepted a Fair Housing Resolution from the City of Columbus, whereas the Columbus City Council declared April as Fair Housing Month and recognized and commended Columbus REALTORS for our efforts to promote housing equality. We also invest in our National Association of REALTORS, REALTORS Political Action Committee, that continues to advocate for and fight for increased funding for fair and affordable housing, and so much more. We are committed to being at the table to help support this work, within our industry and with our local leaders as well.

So much good work has been achieved here locally in Central Ohio, yet finding affordable/workforce housing is still out of reach for so many. We remain committed to this work, to find ways to further learn, partner, influence, and impact.
