We’ve added something fun to our minorthstays rentals! Our family loves to explore the beauty of northern Michigan through camping, so this summer, we took the plunge and bought a camper! We are so excited for all the memories that will be made in this 31 ft travel trailer! While we are not using the camper, we want to share the joy of camping with others by offering our camper up as a rental for those that want the fun of camping without the hassle of set up and tear down. The difference a week can make 😬 This was last week compared to today on Dixon Lake in Ga***rd, MI. We love a northern Michigan summer, but we could do without this. Praying for all those impacted, those who are having to evacuate, and the firefighters and emergency responders who are working tirelessly to get this under control. Hopefully we will get back to our regularly scheduled beautiful summer soon!

Alpenfest is kicking off this week in Ga***rd, MI - a fun-filled week of rides, games, contests, good food, live music, the beloved queens pageant, and it all wraps up with the Alpenfest races and parade on Saturday. That is our personal favorite day as a family! This is one of the highlights of summer every year!

You may have noticed we took a bit of a hiatus recently, but it was for good reason! We welcomed our 5th sweet baby into the family in March, Selah Hope! It’s been a sweet season of adjusting to being a family of 7, and we are so grateful for where the Lord has us.
But now, we are ready to get back into this space! We are so excited to be sharing about life in northern Michigan, spotlighting our fun and unique rentals, and making you fall in love with this beautiful place we call home just as we have! It’s good to be back ☺️
