laborating with the community three years ago as a caseworker. Helping those families by providing resources and prayer to meet their financial and spiritual needs was such a fantastic opportunity. After two and a half years I felt that I was not doing enough and that I needed to go beyond my scope of expertise. New doors opened and a new position was offered to me as the Director of Code Purple to work with the homeless population in my home county. I could not have been more excited and took the opportunity. Working with the guests (homeless) gave me a better understanding of what it really means to have that basic need for our families.
