I had the absolute pleasure of helping my friends find the perfect spot for them. They were coming back to Texas from years of living in California. It was bittersweet for them, but moving into a bigger, more modern and updated cost-effective apartment sure made it sweeter.
I had the best time looking for places that fit their needs, traveling to view apartments alongside them and weighing the pros and cons of each. Honestly, it didn’t feel like work at all. My grandmother would tell my dad while he was an agent, “Son, it’s always good to do business with your friends.” Why? “Because your enemies won’t want to do business with you!” 😆 While this is obviously true, it puts things into perspective for me. Everyone that I do business with, I want to treat as a friend, making things smooth and lighthearted.
To Austin and Jamie, thank you for your friendship and for trusting me with helping you find the perfect place. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my career in real estate. Here’s to many more friends along the way! 🥂
