The first of two closings for clients of mine this week are officially in the books, and this one came together seamlessly. Even in a multiple-offer situation with active, competitive buyers, the right strategy kept everything smooth from start to finish…and now my buyers get to call this Fox Island property their home.

It also helps when both sides are aligned and focused on getting to the finish line, this was a great example of that as the listing agent on the other side was collaborative, professional and a really great communicator (I love that!).

Last week, I wrote offers for multiple clients across different properties and this home was no exception.

📊 What we’re seeing locally in & :
- Multiple-offer situations and escalation clauses.
- Strong, competitive terms from buyers, including waived contingencies, inspections, and shortened closing timelines.
- Strategically priced homes selling over original list price.
- Buyers willing to pay more for well-presented, move-in-ready homes.

Beyond the transaction, I love creating a moment for my clients when they get their keys.

Along with my signature “Taryn's Welcome Home spread" featuring a curated basket of goodies from HomeGoods and an easy to make first night dinner with items from local small businesses, I always add a little extra touch before key handoff with another one of my signature touches, porch decoration and welcome mat. After a stop at The Home Depot for flowers, cleaning supplies, and an HD gift card… I decided to level it up with their very own Porch Goose.

Because the details matter, and so does making a house feel like home from day one!
