After much consideration, I have made the decision to formally withdraw my sponsorship support from Cory and Marlayna's 1/2 racing team.
When I agreed to sponsor this team, it was based on both verbal and written commitments regarding sponsorship benefits, advertising, and representation of my business, Home Place Realty. Unfortunately, those commitments were not fulfilled.
Throughout this process, I have repeatedly attempted to communicate professionally regarding the status of my sponsorship decals and advertising that were agreed to be placed on the race cars prior to the start of the racing season. Rather than receiving answers and accountability, I was met with hostility, disrespect, verbal abuse, and threats simply for asking reasonable questions about the sponsorship I paid for.
As a business owner, I believe that sponsorships are partnerships built on communication, professionalism, mutual respect, and honoring commitments. No sponsor should be made to feel intimidated or mistreated for requesting that agreed-upon obligations be fulfilled.
While I am disappointed by this experience, I will continue to support organizations, events, and individuals who value integrity, professionalism, and respectful business relationships.
I appreciate everyone who has supported Home Place Realty and my business over the years. My commitment remains the same: to conduct business with honesty, transparency, and respect for others.
