Hope everyone had a very nice Thanksgiving weekend, and your Monday isn’t too bad. This post isn’t like most, but I’m not sorry for what I’m about to say. Over the years, we have done our best to build others up in our industry, and it’s just not possible anymore. I have been called at all hours of the night, needing salt, wanting me to go plow a lot because they are way behind, or needing my sidewalk guys because theirs quit or didn’t show up. It goes on and on, even in the summer months with mowing or landscaping. Last year, during the harsh snowstorm, we had business after business calling, along with their contractors, wanting services. Hate to tell everyone, but it stops now. There’s a reason I have nice equipment and help: I have to pay for it. Am I the cheapest around? Absolutely not! But you get what you pay for. And to the contractors, most of you never paid me a dime. I have a list, and it’s the same ones driving the price down, bidding against me on everything, while driving around old rust buckets. I’m sorry for not being sorry. Maybe it’s my age, and turning another year older this week, but y’all are killing the industry. I’ll finish by saying thank you to all of our wonderful customers. You allow me and my family to live the American Dream, and for that, I’m forever thankful!
If you need services for the upcoming winter season reach out immediately and we can discuss options that suit your needs.
