That son, 6-7yo, was spared by the warlord.

That boy grew up, and vowed to live in peace, so long as he was left to live alone, and marry, and have children.

He wasn’t.

They came back and tore down his village many years later.

They took his newly made wife.

And this time, too old now to be spared, he was to be killed, and he knew this.

In the fire of the village, he hid, and escaped.

He fled. He trained and hardened his body.

Made his hands skilled with the sword.

He gathered young farmers, and made them warriors.

They got on horseback, and conquered the neighboring enemy’s clan.

He continued this for many years.

Made wives of many women. Fathered over 100 sons.

His name? Temujin.

AKA,

GENGHIS KHAN.
