I swear he was a little blob yesterday, not able to hold his head up… he turns 7 next week and I while I can’t stop time, I’m doing everything I can to savor it.

Parenthood is wild. One minute you’re questioning everything you’re doing and praying you’re not breaking them and hoping you’re raising a compassionate and empathetic human, and the next you’re jumping for joy and your heart is overflowing at something as simple as a caught ball.

So grateful we’re the ones getting to guide in the hard and cheer in the good

The whimsy in this backyard though 😭

This vining plant is one of my favorites that surprisingly tolerate our Arizona summers really well, it’s referred to as both “corkscrew vine” & “snail vine” - bonus butterflies love them.

Just look habibi, look at what we’ve done in that time, look at these hard earned, absolutely beautiful years. Look at how we’ve grown and changed, look at the little lives we’ve been trusted with. What a gift it is to fall in love and to keep choosing love.
