Early in my career, the advice was “fake it til you make it”, but I learned quick that you can’t know everything in real estate- even after 15 years, new issues arise. An inaccurate answer is the fastest way to lose trust. 😱
Admitting when I encounter a new issue, and doing the research, making the calls to get the most accurate information to my clients instills confidence and trust. AND I learn one more thing so that I CAN answer that question, when it pops up again!
