🌸Declutter: now is literally the perfect time to either toss, donate, or sell anything that is not providing you value in some way. The less you have in the home, the better it will show AND the less you will need to haul with you to the next house. I have definitely moved several times without even unpacking boxes of stuff that needed to go🫣Do as I say and let it go and never deal with it again!
🌸Repairs/maintenance: any minor or major repairs that you have been putting off- address them now! Buyers notice more than you think when walking through. Small things like re painting trim, redoing grout and caulk, and fixing loose cabinets go alongggggg way with how the home presents.
🌸Curb Appeal: get your lawn looking how you always wish it did! Now is the time to really go in and make everything beautiful. Appearance is everything when it comes to selling your property for top dollar. Draw people in from the get go.
🌸Clean: DEEEEP CLEAN!! Hire a professional, enlist the help of friends and family. Get your house to a level of cleanliness you have never had. The buyers can literally feel the care that goes into this step when they walk into your home. Think about how you would like to feel walking into a five star hotel. CLEAN✨✨✨
🌸Call your realtor and let them know you are prepping to sell. They are a great resource if you need handyman, cleaning companies, painters, etc. They should be able to come by and do a visual inspection of the home and give advice on what work will bring the most value to you. An amazing realtor is an INVALUABLE resource to you!
