Between school starting back up and sending our youngest off to kindergarten, I got a little behind on celebrating some real estate wins around here.

Over the last couple weeks, I’ve had a buyer get an offer accepted and two sellers officially close on their homes.

One seller was making a move out of state, and the other was a group of investors I always enjoy working with. Different situations, different goals, but both were great ones to be a part of.

A little late on the posts, but definitely not any less excited for these clients and what’s next for them.

A lot of people only see the accepted offer. They don’t always see the offers that came before it.

Social media has a funny way of making success look simple. You usually just see the closing photos, the sold signs, or the “best month ever” posts- to be honest I’m guilty of it as well. What you don’t always see are the quiet seasons where you wonder if it’s worth sticking with.

This past winter, I was honestly pretty close to walking away from real estate. It was slow, I questioned myself a lot, and I wasn’t sure what the right move was. My wife encouraged me to keep going, and I’m really thankful she did.

A few months later, I found out that May ended up being my best month. This specific goal was never something I talked about, but it was a quiet personal goal.

It’s just a reminder that most people are fighting battles you never see, and sometimes the breakthrough comes right after the season where you want to quit.

One thing this business has taught me is that there are always highs and lows. You enjoy the wins, learn from the tough seasons, and then you put your head down and keep working.

I’m incredibly grateful for the clients, friends, family, and referral partners who trusted me along the way. I definitely don’t take it for granted.

Today was a busy day, and while it’s easy to look at these 3 homes as transactions, that’s never really what they are.

Behind each one is a story. Months of planning, tough decisions, excitement, uncertainty, patience, and hope for what’s next. Today included a first-time homeowner and people stepping into a new chapter.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of those moments. Helping people buy or sell a home is important, but helping them move forward into whatever comes next is what makes this work meaningful.

Feeling thankful today for the trust of some great clients and for everyone who helped get these across the finish line.
